Dr. Rohit Ummer
Dentist
Dr. Rohit Ummer, or Dr. Ro for short, graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso, TX. He then attended the University of Notre Dame where he obtained degrees in Chemistry and Classics and met his wonderful wife, Emily, who is currently a pediatrician. Following his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, he completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY. After residency, Dr. Ro and his wife lived in Oklahoma for a number of years as his wife completed her medical training. While there, he worked as a general dentist and served as a board member for Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services.
Following a relocation to Edinburg to be closer to family, Dr. Ro joined Dr. Adame’s practice in 2020. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ro and his wife, Emily, have been together for 10 years and have a rambunctious one-and-a-half year-old daughter and a slightly less rambunctious 12-year-old dog. They are expecting another daughter in May of 2021. When they aren’t chasing after their children, Dr. Ro and his wife enjoy watching college football, cooking and gardening.
